Fall Festival is TODAY (Friday, Oct. 4), 5:30-8:00PM at Parkway School [ maps ]. You don't want to miss our biggest community event / largest fundraiser of the year. Just so you're as hyped as we are, here are some pics so you'll know what to expect. Last years pics by Parkway parent Leila Jackson (password: fallfest)
Also file under what to expect: Parking Between some awesome Parkway families and our local Deep Gap fire fighters, we'll have volunteers onsite to help you quickly and safely park in the lower lot and field. Parking will be extremely limited in the top lot, and no parking will be allowed in the section adjacent to school. Pre-Order Will Call Pickup Pre-ordered event tickets, pre-ordered taco dinner tickets and pre-ordered jump wristbands should be picked up at the WILL CALL tent at the front entrance. Before you leave tonight... Make sure you check out the raffle baskets, which will be near the exit in the first grade hallway. We hope you use ALL your tickets, but if you have one or two leftover, this is where you'll want to use them when time's running out on our best. day ever. Each ticket will be one entry at a chance to win what all our families worked so hard to create. Here are pics of just a few of our grade raffle baskets: Invite Your Friends and Family! Forward this email to your friends and family. We want them to come be part of an amazing community event this Friday! PS - THANKS to the hundreds of parents, teachers, sponsors and students whose time, energy and donations have already made tonight a success in our eyes! In case no one has told you yet, Parkway is the best school in the county, and we really are Parkway Proud. Major kudos to fall fest committee members, PTO officers and chairs, too. If you want to be part of this awesome crew that values each others gifts and talents, let us know. Baking cakes for tomorrow's Cake Walk at Fall Festival?
Sweet! Come one, come all, to the great cake drop-off tomorrow, Friday during morning and afternoon car rider lines! We'll have volunteers onsite in the top and bottom lots to make things as easy as possible. This one Fall Fest activity alone a major fundraiser for the school, and we need as many cakes, treats, donuts and such as we can get! Don't hold back! Please be mindful not to delay the main drop-off area, as car rider line is tough enough without our added fun! If you're bringing 20 cakes (and we hope you are), you'll want to park and walk in. As you approach the drive, if you safely can do so, hand off your item(s) to the volunteer in the median. As you're baking tonight, it's helpful if you will jot down a list of ingredients for homemade goodies - especially when considering allergens such as peanuts. While our gif is silly, this is a serious request; we care deeply about keeping you safe! We're looking forward to seeing you at Parkway School's Fall Festival tomorrow, 5:30-8:00 PM (silent auction closes at 7PM). It'll be our Best. Day. Ever! This Friday is Fall Festival -- it's Parkway's Best. Day. Ever! It's our largest fundraiser of the year, and your student will love it as much or more than that other October holiday. The fun starts at 5:30 p.m. and the party won't stop 'til 8:00 p.m. A few helpful hints:
